Submit your work (first 3000 words and synopsis) prior to the weekend and receive feedback in a 15 minute one-to-one with each lady.
Our studio also contains the mini home gym, an extensive library of ‘how to write a novel’ books. And a huge television, great broadband, Netflix et cetera. Or just relax around the roaring fire each night after a hearty home-cooked supper, to discuss writerly things, with your fellow guests.
Please note almost half the places have already been taken. (Our 2019 pitch to a publisher weekend was a runaway success and sold out very quickly). It’s essential to book as early as possible.

One ensuite bedroom still available £22 PPPN extra
HATTIE GRUNEWALD – The Blair Partnership
Hattie Grünewald is an Agent at The Blair Partnership. She represents commercial and upmarket fiction – including women’s fiction, crime and thriller, historical and book club fiction. Before joining the Blair Partnership she was a literary agent at Blake Friedmann Agency, where she worked for six years. Hattie has a degree in English and Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia and she is also a poet.
Zoë Plant joined The Bent Agency in 2019 and is building a list that is focused on commercial children’s, YA and adult fiction. She has a particular love of fantasy, science fiction, horror and anything a little bit nerdy, but is also on the look-out for strong contemporary voices and high concept settings. Prior to arriving at the Bent Agency, she spent five years as a literary scout, scouring the UK market for the very best children’s and adult books to recommend to international publishers.
